Bespoke Kitchen & Joinery

Private Client | Camden London, 2023

This bespoke kitchen and storage joinery, designed, fabricated, and installed by Oban CNC, transforms a ground-floor flat in Camden, London. The design features shaker-style drawers with solid English oak exposed edges and an MDF core, laminated with Fenix on both the front and back before the handle details and various-sized fronts were milled. The worktop, which incorporates an under-mounted sink and integrated hob, was machined from Hi-Macs, offering refined durability to the work surface. High-level cupboards are made from oak-faced birch plywood, adding a warm and natural accent.

Custom storage units are constructed from bespoke Valchromat carcasses, finished with OSMO top oil, and feature doors with solid English oak frames and rattan panels. This combination of materials perfectly blends craftsmanship with a warm, tactile aesthetic, offsetting the sleek, sterile nature of the Hi-Macs and Fenix.
