This bespoke cabinet/plinth was designed and fabricated to house various mechanisms and servos to control this animatronic model of The Network Building by Piercy & Company for client Derwent London. A combination of mitred and stepped joints make up the overall construction; including pockets for magnets for removable panels and various inserts to allow moving parts to slide smoothly and accurately when in operation.
