People’s Pavilion

Beyond the Box | East London, 2023

A community built pavilion, located in Lea Bridge Library's garden in Waltham Forest; constructed primarily from locally sourced timber with various custom plywood joint components. The pavilion named ‘Roots of Heritage’ was designed by 18-year-olds Bruno De Marco, Tomi Balogun, and Zhané Philips to create an open space for reflection.
